The first daughter Charlene ruto today landed at kenyatta university where she joined the school’s administration and students for a tree planting session to mark the climate day which was celebrated in the country.

This Coming in just a few days after President William ruto launched the tree planting initiative at state house together with the first lady mama Rachel ruto.

According to the first daughter environment and taking care of the environment is paramount for any Kenyan since it is an initiative that will preserve the environment and ensure that the coming generation enjoy the fruits of a good environment.

She challenged institutions and Kenyans to ensure that they embark on planting trees which is among ruto’s top priority in his administration. She further stated that the head of state president ruto is keen on planting more than 10 million trees by the end of his first term in office come 2027.
