President William Ruto‘s right-hand man Dennis Itumbi has thrown chaps at political Strategist Mutahi Ngunyi after sharing what seemed to be an edited video of Senegal’s President Macky Sall implicating and lecturing President William Ruto in Senegal.Through a tweet on his page, Ngunyi shared an edited video of the president allegedly lecturing Ruto on why he should go back to Kenya and fix the country, claiming that Raila Odinga was crying foul over his stolen victory.

“I want you to go back to your country and fix it. The leader of the opposition is crying that you stole his votes. Peace in your country is more powerful than this summit of feeding Africa,” alleged President Sall’s edited video.

Ngunyi, while helping propagate the video, indirectly attacked Ruto and said such a remark is not only demeaning to Kenya but a shame to the country

“This is DEMEANING. Not to President Ruto. But to the PRIDE of our country. Being LECTURED by a francophone leader whose country is still a COLONY of France” stated Ngunyi in his Tweet

However, Ruto’s man Dennis Itumbi quickly rubbished the shared video and reminded Ngunyi that it was fake. He lashed out at the political expert reminding him to be professional and distinguish between real and fake edited videos.

He shared the original video of the President speaking in French and not in English as shared by Ngunyi. In the original video, Ruto is seen keenly listening to Senegal’s President through a translator. Senegal is a French-speaking nation.
